Induced Gas Flotation
For removal of free and dispersed oil in water, NATCO offers cost-effective induced gas flotation technologies incorporating a unique design aimed to reduce footprint area and cost: Tridair Horizontal Hydraulic™, Tridair Mechanical™ and Tridair VersaFlo™.
To achieve the optimum performance, a flotation unit should:
- Disperse the right mass of gas into the water
- Achieve optimal bubble size
- Achieve smooth bubble flow path for the bubbles
- Minimize the percentage skimmings
- Prevent harmful gas leakage
All of NATCO’s IGF technologies can be designed to meet stringent discharge levels and allow highly efficient removal of insolubles and solids, while preventing emissions of VOCs and other explosive gases.
Induced Gas Flotation units are effective in treating industrial waste water effluents from production sites, refineries, petrochemical, chemical, and natural gas processing plants, with vertical units capable of removing 90% and horizontal units capable of removing 95-98%of all free or dispersed hydrocarbon 3 — 5 µm and larger.
